We are posting a maintenance window that will require an outage of the app for ~2 hours. We are going to schedule this outage at 1AM EST on 4/27. We hope that the actual downtime is less then 15 minutes but, we are doing a few bigger infrastructure changes so we are giving ourselves some buffer. We did a look at the times that the app is used and Saturday and Sunday between 1-3 AM appears to be some of the least used times.
During the outage we are doing the following things:
1 - Implementing a new user feature where a user can now be a member of multiple gyms. We will auto convert any user that had a guest pass from an interface to a full member. When you attempt to add a member moving forward even if they are a member elsewhere you will be able to do so. This will also make handling multiple locations for admins easier as they will show in the member list for both locations.
2 - We are moving some of the infrastructure from the Microsoft Data Center that had an issue to a different data center and working to set up some high availability services to have the platform in multiple places within the Microsoft Data Centers.
